Brentwood Theatre Company

A musical retelling of this much loved family classic.

Join us on a journey beyond the wardrobe for a musical retelling based on C.S. Lewis classic 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe'. 1941 sees four English school children evacuated from their home and stumble across Narnia, a magical realm covered in snow and Ice. Along the way they befriend some of the talking animals and mythical creatures who inhabit Narnia. The children are each given a special gift which will help them assist Aslan, The Great Lion, to defeat The White Witch.

Suitable for ages 5 and upwards.

Book by Jules Tasca
Music by Thomas Tierney

Christmas is the only time of year we produce an in-house show. If you would like to be considered, please visit Brentwood Theatre Company.

Relaxed Performances are specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit form a more relaxed performance environment, including people with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability.

Two years ago, we were one of the first theatres in the country to put on a Relaxed (autism friendly) Performance. We did our research and worked out the logistics as sensitively as possible and the night was a huge success, other theatres across the country are following the example we set out.

Some things we ensure happen at a 'relaxed' performance no loud noises or sudden surprises, soft lighting left on and free movement in and out of the theatre for toilet/anxiety breaks; selling only up to 70 tickets (about half capacity) so there is extra space for those who need it; providing a relaxation area in our foyer; providing a personalised welcome pack ahead of the visit and lots more.

We are holding a relaxed Performance on Tuesday 19 December at 6pm. For further information and to book, contact
