Fantastic
MR FOX

'Foxy fun from Fantastic Mr Dahl!
Adapting it was a labour of love!'
David Wood

Boggis, Bunce and Bean
One fat, one short, one lean
These horrible crooks
So different in looks
Were nonetheless equally mean

Come and join Mr and Mrs Fox and their family and friends – including Badger, Mole and Weasel – as they dance the night away, feasting together and telling the tale of how they took on the loathsome trio of farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean….
When the rotten farmers try to capture Mr Fox – camping out for days on end at the foxhole so no-one can get in or out – what can Mr Fox do? All of the animals suffer as they cannot venture outside, and they all begin to starve. But the ever-resourceful
Mr Fox and his family work hard together and digga-digga-dig long tunnels into the farmers’ stores and plunder the food to keep their families and friends alive.
Outwitting the farmers, the animals celebrate with a feast – and you too are invited to join the fun.
FANTASTIC MR FOX was written by Roald Dahl, and has been adapted for the stage by David Wood, originally commissioned by the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry and first performed there on 3 April 2001.
