Following on from the critical success of their much-loved 'An Evening of Alan Bennett' in October 2009, the award-winning Heads First Theatre Company present 'STEVIE' - the touching story of the poet Stevie Smith.
We first meet Stevie, together with her formidable elderly aunt, in the 1950s living
in a small semi-detached house in Palmers Green, London and follow her tragi-comic life
to its conclusion in 1971.
This play brings together Stevie, her much-loved Aunt and a 'Man' - who portrays various characters in Stevie's life - in a brilliant dramatization by Hugh Whitemore, author of Pack of Lies and Breaking the Code.
